Underwriting approach

Guarant writes treaty and facultative reinsurance in ten specialty lines. The Company's strategy is deliberately scoped: it does not seek to write every available class in every available market. Instead, Guarant concentrates on lines where its underwriters have direct experience and where the cedant relationship supports transparent data exchange and disciplined risk selection.

Each placement is underwritten against a written risk appetite. Cedant financial strength, claims experience, exposure data, geography, peril aggregation and policy wording are reviewed for every submission.

Capital base

The Company holds USD 250 million in paid-up capital with no third-party debt. Total equity at year-end 2025 was USD 277.1 million. The Company's solvency position is assessed against the AOFA requirements and monitored by the Board through the Risk Committee.
